The new, 7th series in the line of SunSun UV sterilizers differs from the previous models in higher throughput, due to the larger diameter of the body and the increased diameter of the inlet and outlet holes, as a result – higher productivity. Thanks to this, the efficiency of the SunSun CUV-736 sterilizer increases several times – the longer the water is in contact with ultraviolet light, the more microorganisms are killed and the cleaning is more effective.

 

SunSun CUV-736 is suitable for fresh and sea water in aquariums with a volume of up to 1,800 liters or ponds with a volume of up to 55,000 liters. Single-celled algae that cause “blooming” of water, blue-green algae, bacteria that cause turbidity of water and other undesirable microorganisms, incl. pathogenic, when passing through the sterilizer, die under the action of ultraviolet light. The sterilizer does not harm fish, plants, or beneficial bacteria. The microflora involved in biofiltration remains in the pores of special filter materials and affects the subsequent water treatment. The sterilizer acts only on microorganisms in the water, that is, it does not disturb the bioequilibrium of the aquatic system, biofiltration, and does not harm the healthy microflora of the aquarium and pond.

For the correct operation of the sterilizer, it is important to adhere to the recommended terms for changing the lamps. The service life of the UV lamp is from 7,000 to 10,000 hours, therefore, for the correct operation of UV cleaning, we recommend replacing the lamps every hour along with cleaning the glass bulb from plaque and slime
